Autre chanson du passé, écrite pour le 2e album des Freluquets (Discorama). Ré-enregistrée en hommage au regretté Patrice Rul disparu l'an dernier et dont j'ai reproduit avec respect l'excellente ligne de basse.

Beautiful music from the James Hackett (The Orchids) and Mark Tranmer (Gnac, The Montgolfier Brothers). Both are masters at creating atmospheres that feel both cinematic and intimately personal. It's like espresso and a sedative, conjuring a vivid dream, and it's a place once visited you want to explore for as long as the spell lasts. Truly special. Andy Waltzer

What a joy to find this on bandcamp, having missed out on the vinyl rerelease. I'd only heard Strawberry Window prior to this, but I love that song and have done since first hosting it on Radio Scotland, back in the late 80s. This is exactly my kind of music, layered, anthemic guitars and great melodies. At times, it brings to mind another great lost band, The Train Set. Fabulous stuff. richardw27
